The Application Engineer supports the implementation and maintenance of software applications that meet business needs. This role exists to help deliver reliable and well-tested software while gaining hands-on experience with up-to-date tools and practices. The position works closely with senior engineers, product managers, and QA teams to learn best practices and contribute to high-quality solutions. Essential Duties
Write, test, and maintain code for software applications under guidance of senior engineers.
Assist in developing and enhancing front-end and/or back-end components.
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
Write basic unit and integration tests to support application reliability.
Help troubleshoot and resolve bugs and support issues.
Follow established coding standards, documentation practices, and processes.
Collaborate with team members in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Learn and apply recent technologies, tools, and frameworks as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
