Ornate Inc is a Tricity-based architectural metalworks company. We design and fabricate premium staircase railings, gates, grills, façade elements, and custom metal installations for residences, hotels, and commercial projects across North India.

We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen the design-to-production bridge between our drawing board and shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:
Convert architect and client drawings into shop-ready fabrication drawings
Work alongside our draftsman on site measurements and detailing
Plan fabrication sequence with foreman and shop supervisors
Solve on-floor engineering problems including joint design, load considerations, and finishing choices
Coordinate with vendors for raw material procurement (stainless steel, mild steel, brass, glass, hardware)
Travel to project sites for measurements, installation supervision, and client coordination
Prepare BOQs and material take-offs for projects
Drive quality and timely delivery across active jobs

Required Qualifications:




Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering
2 to 5 years experience in fabrication, structural metalwork, sheet metal, or architectural products
AutoCAD proficiency (mandatory)
Ability to read and create General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bills of Quantity
Solid understanding of welding, cutting, bending, and fabrication processes
Comfort working on shop floor and at project sites

Preferred Qualifications:
SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar 3D design software
Experience with architectural metalwork, railings, or façade systems
Exposure to high-end residential or hospitality projects
Vendor management experience

What We Offer:
Salary: ₹18,000 to ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and skill assessment)
