We are seeking a Senior Content Deployment / Release Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to manage content deployments, release pipelines, and deployment operations across Linux-based settings.
The ideal candidate will have robust experience with Linux, Shell scripting, Jenkins, Bamboo, and CI/CD deployment pipelines, along with the ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and support content-delivery integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and manage content deployments and release pipelines using Jenkins and Bamboo.
Monitor and troubleshoot deployment and release-related issues across Linux-based environments.
Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate deployment and operational activities.
Troubleshoot Linux- and Shell-level issues impacting application and content deployments.
Support Box API integrations for content delivery.
Monitor deployment health and application/release activities using Datadog.
Work with Node.js and MySQL as required for deployment and application support activities.
Manage source control and release activities using SVN and Git.
Support applications and deployment components involving Perl, Scala, and Grails.
Work with HTML, JSON, CSS, and XML as part of content and application deployment activities.
Investigate deployment failures, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
Maintain deployment documentation, procedures, and operational guidelines.
