Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated Tamil Teacher to join our CBSE school. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Tamil lessons, developing students' language and literary skills, and creating a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning workplace.

The teacher should have a strong command of Tamil language, grammar, literature, reading, writing, and communication skills, along with the ability to use cutting-edge and activity-based teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, question papers, and teaching-learning materials.
Develop students' skills in Tamil reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Teach Tamil language and literature using age-appropriate and engaging methodologies.
Use storytelling, poetry, role play, discussions, activities, games, and other experiential learning techniques.
Encourage students to develop an appreciation for Tamil language, literature, culture, history,



and heritage.
Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial teaching and individual support.
Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance, attendance, and progress.
Use digital resources and smart-classroom technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Maintain an engaging, disciplined, and child-friendly classroom workplace.
Participate in school assemblies, cultural programmes, competitions, celebrations, clubs, and other co-curricular activities.
Encourage students to participate in Tamil-related activities such as elocution, essay writing, poetry, storytelling, debates, and literary competitions.
Communicate students' academic progress and areas of improvement to parents when required.
Collaborate with colleagues and coordinators for curriculum planning and student development.
