Role Description
The Electrical BIM Modeller is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai, responsible for developing and managing detailed electrical BIM models for building and infrastructure projects.



Daily tasks include creating and updating 3D models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and integrating electrical systems within overall BIM workflows. The role involves interpreting and converting construction drawings into accurate BIM models, ensuring compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements. The Electrical BIM Modeller collaborates closely with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to resolve clashes, maintain model integrity, and support documentation for design reviews and site execution. The position also requires adherence to Escher Labs’ digital delivery processes and participation in continuous improvement of modeling standards and templates.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), with experience in electrical systems modeling and coordination.
