OVERVIEW:

Work with a fast-growing team at TransPerfect to guide one of TransPerfects flagship products. The QA Engineer, will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SDLC, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

DESCRIPTION:
QA and test web-applications following Agile methodology guidelines
Innovate and automate test cases with CI/CD and cross browser enablement
Automate API (web services and RESTful), and backend database testing using existing and current tools
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
Implement and maintain automation framework
Coordinate with the QA lead on testing activities for given release
Develop test plans, test cases on multiple projects of varying size




Conduct thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure product functionality meets specifications
Maintain QA documentation
Document and track defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, improve efficiency and overall quality of the product

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree required
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in a software development environment
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Skilled experience in JAVA / C# programing languages
Experience testing RESTful web services and API's
Experience with GUI driven testing as well as programmatic testing
Experience with Continuous Integration systems like Azure DevOps, etc
Experience with bug tracking systems such as TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps etc
Proven experience in Selenium, Playwright
