Act as the primary day-to-day contact for key clients, working closely with the Associate Director.
Respond proactively to client queries and keep clients informed of assignment progress.
Build and maintain robust relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Identify potential business prospects within existing and recent client relationships.
Management Accounts & Financial Reporting
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and related financial analysis.
Prepare year-end audited financial statements and statutory financial statements.
Prepare consolidated financial statements for group entities.
Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
UK Bookkeeping & Accounting
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including purchase, sales, bank, and payroll journals.
Perform bank, customer, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations.
Manage intercompany reconciliations with subsidiaries, head office, and associated companies.
Process accounting adjustments and maintain accurate financial records.
Accounts Payable & Payment Processing
Manage the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process.
Review supplier accounts and prepare supplier payments.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase transactions.
VAT, Tax & Statutory Compliance
Prepare and finalize quarterly UK VAT returns.
Process EC Sales and Intrastat statements.
Prepare Corporation Tax computations.
Handle UK compliance requirements including VAT, CIS, and Payroll.
Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Audit & Technical Support
Support external audit activities and work in accordance with applicable ISAs.
Provide technical and compliance support on client matters.
Identify financial, technical, and compliance risks and escalate matters appropriately.
Ensure adherence to the firm's quality control procedures.
