We're looking for someone who can turn written content into simple, transparent visuals — the kind used in training videos, e-learning modules, and educational courses. Some companies call this a Storyboard Artist. Others call it a Visualizer, an Instructional Designer, or a Content Visualizer. If your work involves reading content and sketching out how it should look on screen, this role is for you — whatever your current title says.
You'll take academic and training content — scripts, research material, course text — and turn it into clear visual sequences: what appears on screen, in what order, and how it's shown. You don't need to be an SME or writer. You just need to understand what a piece of content is saying and know how to show it, not just describe it.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret academic scripts, research documents, and subject-matter inputs to identify the core concepts that need visual representation
Translate written and verbal content into clear, sequential storyboards, including scene breakdowns, on-screen text placement, visual metaphors,
and diagrams
Simplify complex, abstract, or data-heavy academic concepts (e.g. governance, ESG, finance, leadership frameworks) into visually intuitive formats
Plan pacing, framing, and transitions for each scene to support comprehension and learner engagement
Incorporate feedback from academic reviewers, editors, and production teams through multiple revision rounds
Maintain visual and stylistic consistency across modules, sessions, and course series
Organize and document storyboard files in a explicit, version-controlled, and production-ready format
Minimum 2 years of skilled experience as a Storyboard Artist, Visual Content Designer, or in a closely related visual storytelling role
Prior experience storyboarding for educational, academic, e-learning, or training content is strongly preferred
A portfolio demonstrating storyboard work for narrative, instructional, or educational conte
