Core Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Generation
* Deposit Mobilization: Drive branch targets for savings accounts, recurring deposits (RD), fixed deposits (FD), and daily deposit schemes.
* Loan Portfolio Growth: Expand the credit portfolio across products (e.g., gold loans, vehicle loans, agricultural credit, personal loans, or MSME loans).
* Customer Acquisition: Build community networks, handle local outreach, and acquire recent members/borrowers.
Credit Oversight & Risk Management
* Loan Evaluation: Conduct primary due diligence, verify documentation, and assess borrower eligibility before recommending or approving loan files.
* NPA & Recovery Control: Monitor timely EMI repayments, track overdue accounts, and lead recovery efforts to keep Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) minimal.
* Portfolio Risk: Ensure overall asset quality across all lending categories.
Operational & Staff Management
* Daily Operations: Oversee vault management, cash handling, account opening, and transaction processing.
* Team Leadership: Manage and mentor branch staff, including field executives, deposit collectors, loan officers, and customer service staff.
* Customer Relations: Handle member inquiries, resolve escalations, and maintain service standards.
Audit & Regulatory Compliance
* Cooperative Guidelines: Ensure compliance with internal society policies, state cooperative laws, or Multi-State Cooperative Societies (MSCS) regulations.
* Audits & Inspection: Prepare branch records for internal and external audits, ensuring prompt resolution of any compliance observations.
