KPMG India is seeking talented professionals to join its Risk Consulting practice in the area of AI Governance and Responsible AI. This role is focused on helping organizations assess AI-related risks, strengthen governance frameworks, evaluate controls, and support compliance with emerging AI regulations and standards.

This prospect is ideal for AI/ML, Generative AI, NLP, and LLM professionals interested in expanding their careers into AI Governance, Risk, Compliance, Controls, and Responsible AI.

Note: This is not a pure software development role.

Key Responsibilities
Support AI Governance and Responsible AI engagements for global clients.
Conduct AI risk assessments and evaluate governance and control frameworks.
Review AI/ML and GenAI use cases for fairness, explainability, accountability, transparency, and compliance.
Assess risks associated with LLMs, RAG applications, Agentic AI systems, and Machine Learning models.
Perform AI control testing, governance reviews, and assurance activities.




Assist in designing and implementing AI governance frameworks and policies.
Support AI audit and compliance initiatives.
Collaborate with technology, business, legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
Provide recommendations to mitigate AI-related risks.
Stay updated on evolving AI regulations, industry standards, and Responsible AI practices.

Required Skills
3 to 11 years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, NLP, Machine Learning, or Generative AI.
Robust knowledge of:
Python
Machine Learning
NLP
Generative AI
Large Language Models (LLMs)
LangChain
LangGraph
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
OpenAI / Azure OpenAI
Understanding of AI risks such as:
Bias and Fairness
Hallucinations
Privacy and Security Risks
Model Drift
Explainability Challenges
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
