Les Amis Café | Gelateria | Pâtisserie is looking for a passionate and hardworking Bakery Commis to join our kitchen team and support the daily bakery and pâtisserie production.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and production of breads, pastries, cakes, and bakery products.
Follow recipes, preparation methods, and production standards accurately.
Support the senior chefs in daily mise en place and bakery production.
Ensure consistency in the quality, taste, texture, and presentation of products.
Measure and prepare ingredients accurately as per recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and workstations.
Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Handle bakery equipment and tools safely and correctly.
Assist with proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
Minimize wastage and maintain effective use of ingredients.
Support the team during high-volume production and service periods.
Requirements
Previous experience in a bakery, pâtisserie, café, or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
Basic knowledge of baking and pastry preparation.
Passion for baking and willingness to learn.
Valuable attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Valuable hygiene and cleanliness practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Culinary / Bakery & Pâtisserie qualification is an advantage.
