Record and reconcile reinsurance premium transactions, commissions, and adjustments.
Process and monitor claims recoverable from reinsurers and ensure timely settlements.
Prepare and review reinsurance bordereaux, statements of accounts, and balances with reinsurers and brokers.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to reinsurance accounting.




Reconcile reinsurance balances with underwriting systems and general ledger accounts.
Coordinate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and finance teams to ensure accuracy of data and transactions.
Support financial reporting, regulatory filings, and audits related to reinsurance activities.
Monitor outstanding balances and aging with reinsurers and brokers and follow up for settlement.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal controls.
