Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with applicable EHS and statutory safety requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
Implement and monitor safety procedures and secure work practices.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety training and awareness programs.
Monitor PPE compliance across the plant.
Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
Maintain EHS records, registers, reports and statutory documentation.
Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire safety and mock drills.
Support implementation of environmental and occupational safety initiatives.
Coordinate with departments to improve overall safety performance.
