Key Responsibilities
Assist cardiologists during pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device implantation procedures.
Perform device interrogation, programming, and parameter optimization under clinical supervision.
Monitor and evaluate device function and identify abnormalities or alerts.
Assist in pacemaker, ICD, and CRT device follow-up and troubleshooting.
Support electrophysiology procedures and cardiac rhythm monitoring.
Perform and assist with ECG and other cardiac monitoring procedures as required.
Maintain accurate records of device implantation, interrogation, programming, and follow-up.
Coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, and other clinical teams during procedures.
Provide technical support for cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs).
Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and documentation of CRM equipment.
Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety procedures.
Stay updated on recent cardiac device technologies and CRM protocols.
Required Skills
Knowledge of pacemakers, ICDs, CRT-P and CRT-D devices.
Basic understanding of cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmias.
Knowledge of ECG and cardiac rhythm monitoring.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot cardiac device programmers.
Positive clinical observation and technical skills.
Ability to work effectively with cardiologists and clinical teams.
Solid communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience in cardiac electrophysiology, cath lab, pacemaker/ICD implantation, device interrogation, or cardiac device clinics will be preferred.
