Roles and Responsibilities

Below activities shall be performed within stipulated time frame for Basic Detail Cable tray layout engineering.
To work on E3D /Autodesk Revit / AutoCAD software for various type of hydro power plant Cable and Cable tray networks modelling.
Generate General arrangement drawings for cable Tray layout erection drawing Trench layout.
Pothead yard / Switchyard layout detailing.
Knowledge of Cable Sizing, Cable Schedule, Cable filling study Distribution Board Schedule.
To review various vendor equipment drawings for layout interfaces requirements.
Organizing the Design Review Meetings of Basic Detail design document.
Generate clash check report from E3D resolve if any interference found.
Preparation of Single Line Diagram (Power, lighting, UPS, Control)
Knowledge of Earthing Lighting layouts.
Prepare bill of material for various cable trays, cable tray supports release in PLM tool.
Should interact with other department for various inputs/interface requirement keep the record.




Interaction with customer/other COEs/Region for various discussion/meeting.
To review customer civil structural design drawings, civil construction drawings.

Required Qualifications
Diploma/B.E. Electrical Engineering
Should be able to communicate/understand English language
He/she should have minimum 12 to 15 yearsexperience on below activity.
should have positive knowledge of cad software, like E3D/Autodesk Revit/ AutoCAD, MS office, etc.
Should have good knowledge about Cable Tray support engineering.
He/she should have valuable knowledge about hydro power plant layout, equipment arrangement/layout should be good knowledge about plant network layout.
Clash resolution.
Site Support resolution.
Cabling route definition Trays filling study.
Project planning/scheduling, man-hours estimation, document checking.
