We are looking for experienced Freight Brokers to join our growing US-based logistics company in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the US freight market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Source and negotiate freight with carriers and customers.
Find and book reliable carriers for available loads.
Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and shippers.
Track loads and coordinate with carriers throughout the shipment.
Ensure timely pickup and delivery of loads.
Handle rate confirmations, load details, and other required documentation.
Resolve operational issues and communicate effectively with customers and carriers.
Maintain accurate records of loads, rates, and carrier information.
Meet daily and monthly performance and revenue targets.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience as a Freight Broker / Freight Broker Agent in the US logistics industry.
Strong knowledge of the US trucking and freight market.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to source carriers and negotiate rates effectively.
Comfortable working with US customers and carriers.
Good knowledge of load boards and freight management systems is preferred.
Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet targets.
Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
