Key Responsibilities
Manage and track all company Vans, FTL and commercial vehicles, including maintenance, servicing, breakdowns and daily operations.
Develop and manage transport vendors/fleet owners from the market, negotiate rates and close vehicle requirements.
Arrange Adhoc, monthly and emergency replacement vehicles from the market whenever required.
Handle current customer requirements from vehicle sourcing → negotiation → deployment → successful closure.
Manage drivers, including driver hiring, replacement, attendance, salary, performance and documentation.
Handle vehicle RC, insurance, permits, fitness, road tax, RTO work, challans and renewals.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, drivers and internal teams to ensure timely vehicle placement and smooth operations.
Maintain a reliable network/database of Vans, FTL vehicles, transporters and drivers.
Be comfortable with field visits for vendor development, vehicle sourcing, driver hiring and RTO/transport-related work.
Take complete ownership of transport requirements and resolve operational issues independently.
