Role & responsibilities
Analyze RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Estimate costs for machining, sheet metal, welding, assembly, and surface treatment processes.
Develop manufacturing process flow, setups, operations, tooling, and cycle time estimation.
Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; for process planning and costing.
Coordinate with suppliers for outsourced processes like EDM, grinding, coating, anodizing, plating, and heat treatment.
Support process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
Knowledge of Machining, Sheet Metal, Welding, Assembly & Surface Treatment
Solid understanding of GD&T; and manufacturing drawings
Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA & MS Office
Knowledge of aerospace materials: Aluminium, Titanium, SS, Inconel & Composites
