Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager IT to manage and support the end-to-end IT infrastructure and operations at our Gulbarga factory location. The role involves ensuring high availability, security, compliance, and operational efficiency of IT systems while coordinating with business users, plant operations, corporate IT teams, vendors, and auditors.
The ideal candidate should possess solid hands-on expertise in networking, cybersecurity, Microsoft technologies, factory IT systems, IT governance, and service management
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management
Manage and maintain complete IT infrastructure at the factory.
Ensure uptime and availability of network, servers, internet links, and end-user systems.
Monitor IT assets and maintain lifecycle management.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and preventive maintenance.
Support factory expansion projects and current IT deployments.
Network Administration
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot:
FortiGate Firewalls
Aruba Managed Switches
Aruba Wireless Access Points
WAN & LAN Connectivity
Internet Leased Lines
VPN Connectivity
Implement network security controls and access management.
Monitor network performance and bandwidth utilization.
Microsoft Ecosystem Management
Administer and support:
Microsoft 365
Exchange Online
Microsoft Teams
SharePoint Online
OneDrive
Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
Manage user provisioning, licenses, security groups, and access rights.
Implement Microsoft security best practices and compliance requirements.
Endpoint Security & Compliance
Manage Microsoft Defender Security Suite.
Ensure endpoint compliance across desktops and laptops.
Implement and monitor:
BitLocker Encryption
Endpoint Protection
Device Compliance Policies
Vulnerability Management
Coordinate security patch management activities.
