Ankuran Science Centre in Madurai has now commenced operations. This marks an key milestone in our journey to bring hands-on, experiential science education (through our ERTA methodology - Explore, Reflect, Think, Apply) to government and Corporation school students, extending the model that has worked well for us in Durgapur to Tamil Nadu.
As we scale up our Madurai centre and prepare our Trichy centre for full operations, one of our biggest priorities right now is building a solid team of facilitators. In particular, we are actively looking for a Chemistry faculty member for both centres, and would deeply value your guidance and network in identifying suitable candidates.

Science Faculty - Physics / Chemistry / Biology / STEM
Reports to: Centre Head
Role Purpose
Faculty members are facilitators of curiosity and discovery - not traditional lecturers. They guide students through hands-on experiments, observations,
and reflections aligned with the school syllabus.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct experiential learning sessions based on ERTA methodology
Prepare activities, setups, and materials before each session
Maintain and regularly check the condition of all equipment and models
Maintain a stock register of consumables and raise procurement requests in time
Guide students through observation, questioning, and concept linkage
Conduct tutorials, assessments, and feedback sessions
Maintain student engagement and manage group behavior during activities
Prepare worksheets, concept notes, and learning support materials
Support events such as science fairs, stargazing nights, and STEM workshops
Maintain the lab in a clean, organized, and safety-compliant condition at all times
Update all session/class-related information in the EMS
