Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester with 3 to 5 years of software testing experience, preferably in the Capital Markets, Trading, Exchange, or FinTech domain. The ideal candidate should possess robust knowledge of Spot, Futures & Options (F&O;) trading and margining concepts and be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of trading applications through comprehensive manual testing. Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Perform manual testing of trading, risk management, and exchange applications.
Validate end-to-end trading workflows across Spot, Futures, and Options segments.
Verify margin calculations, position management, order management, settlements, and risk controls.
Conduct functional, integration, regression, system,
and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Managers, and Operations teams to resolve issues.
Prepare test reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
Participate in release validation, production deployments, and post-release testing activities.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and testing best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in Manual Testing.
Robust understanding of:
Spot Trading
Futures & Options Trading
Margining Concepts
Trade Lifecycle Management
Order and Risk Management Systems
Experience in test case preparation, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
