Key Responsibilities
Team Management
Lead and manage a team of Residential Solar Sales Executives.
Set daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
Conduct daily morning huddles and regular performance reviews.
Coach the team on customer handling, product presentation, negotiation and closing.
Monitor individual salesperson performance and take corrective action where required.
Lead Management & Conversion
Ensure all leads are contacted promptly and followed up systematically.
Monitor the complete sales funnel from Lead → Site Visit → Proposal → Negotiation → Booking → Installation.
Ensure no lead remains unattended or inactive.
Review ageing leads and reassign leads where required.
Track lost leads and understand the reasons for loss.
Field Sales
Accompany sales executives for significant customer meetings and site visits.
Personally handle high-value and difficult customers.
Help the team close negotiations and convert opportunities into bookings.
Develop local residential customer networks and referral prospects.




Sales Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and annual KW and revenue targets.
Improve team conversion ratio and average ticket size.
Build a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent monthly bookings.
Take ownership of the team's overall sales performance.
CRM & Reporting
Ensure 100% compliance with CRM/SFDC processes.
Ensure sales executives update calls, meetings, site visits, proposals and follow-ups on time.
Monitor daily activity reports and live field activity.
Prepare weekly sales forecasts and performance reports for management.
Customer & Market Development
Understand residential customers' requirements and objections.
Keep track of competitor pricing, products and offers.
Develop referral channels through existing customers, builders, RWAs, electricians and local networks.
Work closely with Marketing to improve lead quality and lead conversion.
