Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced skilled to manage \Import Pricing, Procurement, and Operations\ for Ocean and Air Freight shipments. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in freight forwarding/logistics and positive knowledge of freight rates, vendor coordination, quotations, and import shipment processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle pricing and procurement activities for import shipments.

* Obtain and negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and other vendors.

* Prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on customer requirements.

* Coordinate with vendors, overseas agents, customers, transporters, CHA, shipping lines, and airlines.

* Manage import shipment activities and ensure timely execution.

* Monitor shipment schedules, documentation,



and operational requirements.

* Maintain updated freight rates, vendor rates, and pricing records.

* Evaluate freight costs, local charges, surcharges, and other applicable charges.

* Support RFQs, spot quotations, and regular customer pricing requirements.

* Coordinate with internal operations and commercial teams to resolve shipment-related issues.

* Follow up with service providers to ensure smooth shipment movement and timely delivery.

* Maintain good working relationships with vendors and overseas partners.

* Monitor shipment profitability and ensure pricing is commercially viable.

* Prepare pricing and operational reports as required.

* Ensure adherence to company procedures and applicable logistics/import requirements.
