Follow the quality management system as established within the organisation & dept.
Perform the tests as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist the consultants in handling and preparation of the equipment and the customer during the process
Proper monitoring of test equipment by running the controls/calibrators/test, as applicable, for ensuring accuracy of investigation.
Upkeep of machines & equipment and their calibration wherever needed.
Verification of the result recorded and printed.
Inspection of the received material and reagents & ensure proper storage of all material.
Ensure proper disposal of waste.
Any mandatory record as and when needed & Records of equipment preventive/ breakdown maintenance and service reports.
Implementation of corrective and preventive action.
Collecting, receiving, labeling, and/or analyzing samples or substances using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
Designing and executing laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
Recording all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic.)
Organizing and storing all chemical substances and fluids according to safety instructions.
Ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
Providing technical support, when necessary.
Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
