Management and Execution of all daily operations of General Cargo Freight/Projects
Management, training, mentoring, and motivation of assigned team members (recent and
existing)
Identify and groom staff with potential for succession planning and communicate with HR
and management accordingly.
Responsible for team member performance management, training and development,
performance appraisal and disciplinary action up to and including termination - as
applicable.
Lead, direct and support daily operations as well as spearheading the development and
rollout of continuous improvement initiatives
Direct, guide and support staff to delivery industry best practices
Facilitate the provision of operational supports including import and export
documentation, synchronization of origin/destination zone transport, customs formalities,
and the overall scope of the door-to-door trade

Constantly monitor cost control efforts within the department to achieve maximum
profitability and timely issue of customer invoices
