Responsibilities
Run and support Exchange Online and Exchange Server in a hybrid setup
Keep mail flowing with connectors, domains and transport rules and use message trace for failures
Monitor health and alerts in SCOM and Microsoft portals and plan fixes and updates
Manage certificates and TLS for SMTP and web and renew or retire on time
Support Outlook and OWA and fix Autodiscover, OAB and calendar issues
Manage mailboxes and groups and set Send As and delegate access
Restore mail and run retention actions with Keepit
Operate EOP and Defender for Office 365 and handle quarantines and sending limits
Automate routine work with PowerShell and keep explicit runbooks
Help the endpoint team with device onboarding, app packaging, RDS and jumphosts, WSUS patching, printing and Always On VPN
Your profile
6 to 12 years in IT with 3 to 4 years on Exchange
Solid troubleshooting for mail flow, Outlook connectivity, Autodiscover, OAB and calendars
Comfortable with EOP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS and DNS
PowerShell for day to day automation
Clear communication and solid documentation
Platform knowledge
Exchange Online and Exchange Server 2016 or 2019
Entra ID and directory sync
Outlook for Windows, macOS and mobile
Keepit for Microsoft 365 backup and restore
Nice to have Proofpoint
Nice to have Intune, SCCM, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, WSUS, RDS and Always On VPN
