Role & responsibilities
Risk assessment, SOPs, Compliance with Factories Act & NBC, Emergency Preparedness & Response, Work with EHS (Workplace, Health & Safety) team to align with overall plant safety
Monitor compliance with fire safety norms, and Audit, Should conduct audits in the plant
Is responsible for handling complete plant safety,
Should have valuable knowledge of Heavy Machine, equipment loading,unloading,shifting activity
Should have valuable knowledge on all aspects safety like JSA, HIRA, risk assessment, ISO 14001 & 1SO 45001 standards, OHS Codes 2020
Data analytics and upload of global reports in system.
Should have worked in a company having minimum 800 employees.
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in accordance with as per State & Central government norms
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Lead training and support to employees on EHS practices, policies,



and emergency response procedures.
Investigate accidents and near-misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
Monitor EHS performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
Stay current with EHS regulations and industry best practices, ensuring the organization remains compliant and emerging safety technologies
Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and coordinate safety compliance audits.
Facilitate EHS committee meetings and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
Organize and lead safety meetings and workshops to encourage employee participation and awareness.

Manage and maintain safety equipment and ensure proper use, maintenance, waste disposal and environmental compliance activities.

Preferred candidate profile

\Post Diploma in industrial safety from RLI / CLI
