We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Controller to inspect, test, and evaluate home and kitchen appliances (electronic and electromechanical products) at various stages of production and before dispatch. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and appliance functioning, and will be responsible for ensuring all products meet company quality standards and comply with relevant safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming raw materials, electronic components, and sub-assemblies (PCBs, motors, wiring, switches, heating elements, etc.) for defects before they enter production
Conduct in-process quality checks at various stages of assembly to catch defects early
Perform final quality inspection and functional testing of finished appliances (e.g., mixers, ovens, induction cooktops, irons, kettles) before packing and dispatch
Test electrical safety parameters — insulation resistance, earth continuity, voltage/current draw — using standard testing equipment (multimeter, megger, HI-POT tester, etc.)
Identify,



document, and report defects, deviations, or non-conformities; coordinate with production team for corrective action
Maintain quality inspection reports, checklists, and defect logs (batch-wise/date-wise)
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring defects and suggest corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Ensure compliance with BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification requirements and other applicable safety/quality standards for electrical appliances
Coordinate with vendors/suppliers on component quality issues and rejections
Support warranty/service teams by analyzing field-return products to identify manufacturing defects
Maintain calibration records of testing instruments and ensure equipment is in proper working condition
Prepare and update Quality Control (QC) manuals, SOPs, and inspection checklists
Train and guide production staff on quality standards and ba
