About the Role
Amity University Kolkata is seeking a agile and academically committed Adjunct Faculty in Statistics to support teaching and academic activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective communication skills, and a passion for teaching, mentoring, and student development.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials in Statistics.
Prepare course materials, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
Mentor and guide students in academic, research, and project-related activities.
Explain statistical concepts and applications using practical and real-world examples.
Support students in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and research methodology.
Participate in departmental academic activities, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
Contribute to curriculum delivery and other academic initiatives.
Eligibility & Qualification
Ph.D. Pursuing in Statistics or a closely related area is preferred.
Master’s degree in Statistics / Applied Statistics / related discipline from a recognized university.
Candidates with relevant teaching experience in higher education will be preferred.
Solid communication, presentation, classroom management, and mentoring skills.
Immediate Joining Requirement
Candidates who can join within 2–3 days will be strongly preferred.
