We are looking for an experienced ITI Fitter (Mechanical) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical fitting, assembly, installation, maintenance, and fabrication-related work as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical fitting and assembly work.
Read and understand mechanical/engineering drawings.
Carry out cutting, drilling, grinding, filing, and fitting work.
Assemble mechanical parts, machines, and equipment.
Perform machine installation, alignment, and maintenance.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Check dimensions and ensure proper fitting and alignment.
Identify and rectify mechanical fitting problems.
Assist engineers and supervisors in fabrication and maintenance activities.
Follow safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.
Skills Required
ITI in Fitter/Mechanical Trade.
Practical knowledge of mechanical fitting and assembly.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Measuring Tape, etc.
Basic knowledge of machine components and mechanical equipment.
Knowledge of drilling, grinding, cutting, and alignment work.
Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Safety-conscious and disciplined.
Experience
2–5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Fitter is preferred.
