We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsman with 6–7 years of experience in preparing P&ID; (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and related technical drawings. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of drafting tools (preferably Auto CAD) and basic understanding of process systems and instrumentation.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Prepare and revise P&ID; drawings, GA drawings, and layout diagrams as per project requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with process engineers and project teams to understand system requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and ensure proper documentation as per internal protocols
Interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
Ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
Coordinate with other departments to incorporate any design changes
Ensure timely submission of drawings for internal and client approvals.
Participate in internal project meetings & reviews as required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Solid works& 2D drafting is a must.
Familiarity with P&ID; standards, symbols, and drafting practices.
Basic knowledge of process equipment, valves, instrumentation, and piping components.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Willingness to learn and grow within the design team.
