Les Amis Café | Gelateria | Pâtisserie is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our café team and deliver consistently high-quality beverages and service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other café beverages according to standard recipes.
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment.
Ensure consistency in the taste, quality, presentation, and temperature of beverages.
Maintain proper mise en place and ensure all bar ingredients and supplies are readily available.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and equipment.
Handle customer orders professionally and provide a positive customer experience.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about replenishment requirements.
Minimize wastage and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients.
Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams for smooth café operations.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Barista in a café, restaurant, hotel, or similar F&B; environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso-making techniques.
Familiarity with espresso machines, grinders, and basic bar equipment.
Valuable customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
Passion for coffee and willingness to learn and develop skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
