Amazon is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its Direct Tax Reporting team in Hyderabad, India. This role supports the Worldwide CapEx team
Key job responsibilities
This position's responsibilities include analyzing CapEx-related transactions and calculating tax adjustments for multiple foreign jurisdictions. Examples of relevant transactions include: operating and capital leases; depreciation of fixed assets; amortization of intangibles; and cost recovery of digital content.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and entries
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a multi-national corporate tax department
Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks
Experience that includes solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, or Enrolled Agent certification
Background in fixed assets or intangibles, with comfort working with large data sets and complex cost recovery rules
Excellent computer skills, specifically with managing large data sets within MS Excel or AI tools
