Eligibility
Certificate/Diploma in Patient Care Assistant (PCA), General Duty Assistant (GDA), or a related healthcare qualification.
Hospital experience will be an added advantage.
Good communication, interpersonal, and patient-handling skills.
Willingness to work rotational shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
Support nurses in providing high-quality patient care.
Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff.
Assist in transferring and positioning patients safely.
Help maintain patient hygiene, comfort, and dignity at all times.
Prepare beds, maintain cleanliness of patient areas, and ensure a safe environment.
Transport patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and between hospital departments.
Assist with collecting patient samples as directed by nursing staff.
Follow infection control practices, biomedical waste management guidelines, and hospital protocols.
Provide compassionate support to patients and their families.
