We are seeking an established civil/general contractor for a large private residence under construction in Ahmedabad. The project is designed by Robert Adam's UK-based classical architecture practice, with a leading Ahmedabad firm (KGA) serving as executive architect of record. The build includes extensive bespoke stonework, decorative detailing, and high-specification finishes.

This role covers the civil and structural shell and overall site management — not every trade on the project. Specialist work such as dressed stonework, decorative plasterwork, and lighting installation will be contracted and paid for separately by the client, with the civil contractor responsible for coordinating their site access and schedule. Prior experience working alongside client-appointed or architect-nominated specialist vendors is a solid advantage, though not mandatory.

Responsibilities:
Execute RCC structure, foundation, masonry, and waterproofing per architectural and structural drawings
Manage day-to-day site logistics, labour, and safety for the civil scope




Coordinate scheduling and site access for separately appointed specialist trades
Report progress, quality, and billing to the project's PMC and owner's office
Maintain quality control against architect specifications and the BOQ
Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety norms

Requirements:
Proven track record in bungalow/villa-scale residential construction in Ahmedabad or Gujarat
Comfortable working on a site where specialist trades are appointed separately, rather than insisting on controlling every scope
Experience with premium finishes, heritage detailing, or large stone-scope projects is a plus
Valid contracting registration and GST, with ability to furnish project references
Solid communication skills and willingness to work to an international design team's specifications
