Position Summary

The Legal Manager will be responsible for managing the Company's legal affairs, regulatory compliance, litigation, recovery-related legal actions, contract management, and legal risk mitigation. The role requires extensive knowledge of financial services regulations, litigation management, debt recovery laws, and corporate legal matters. The Legal Manager will act as the Company's legal representative for initiating and pursuing legal proceedings against defaulters, fraudulent entities, and other parties as required.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory
Provide legal advice and support to management and business teams on legal and regulatory matters.
Ensure that business operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Advise on corporate governance matters, board resolutions, and legal documentation.
Support strategic business initiatives through legal due diligence and risk assessment.

Contract Management
Draft, review, negotiate, and vet legal documents including:
Loan Agreements
Vendor Agreements




Service Agreements
NDAs
Employment Contracts
Partnership Agreements
Customer Agreements
Recovery and Settlement Agreements
Ensure contractual risks are identified and mitigated.
Maintain and manage legal documentation and contract repositories.
Templatisation of Legal Documents
Maintatance of Legal Documents & Records safely

Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, Companies Act, Consumer Protection laws, FEMA, AML/KYC requirements, and other applicable regulations.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the Company's operations.
Coordinate with regulators, auditors, and consultants on legal and compliance matters.
Develop and implement legal compliance frameworks and internal policies.

Litigation, Complaints & Legal Proceedings
Draft, file, and pursue legal complaints, civil suits, criminal complaints, arbitration matters, recove
