Key Responsibilities:
Trade Execution & Processing- Assist in entering mutual fund trades into internal systems with precision and speed.- Confirm trade eligibility based on fund rules, account setup, and compliance guidelines.- Monitor trade activity throughout the day to ensure timely execution and settlement.- Support wire entry and ensure proper routing of funds to meet trade settlement deadlines.- Reconciliation & Issue Resolution- Reconcile mutual fund positions and transactions daily at both the CUSIP and account level.- Identify and resolve breaks or discrepancies in trade data, escalating issues when needed.- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, technology, compliance) to troubleshoot and resolve trade-related issues.- Communication & Collaboration- Interact with fund companies, custodians,
and counterparties to clarify trade details and resolve exceptions.- Maintain transparent and skilled communication across departments to support smooth trade processing.- Support audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives related to reconciliation and transfer processes.- Document procedures and contribute to training materials for both onshore and offshore teams.
Your team
You’ll be working in the Wealth Management Mutual Funds Operations team, supporting all operational aspects related to mutual fund products. Our team operates across multiple locations and plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of mutual fund transactions and processes.
Your expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.- Ideally 3+ years of experience in operations workplace; reconciliation and/or ACAT processing knowledge is a plus.-
