Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate mathematics lessons in alignment with the school's curriculum.
Teach core mathematical concepts, including number sense, arithmetic, measurement, geometry, data handling, and problem-solving.
Use interactive and differentiated teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation.
Assess student learning through classwork, assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations.
Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Identify students requiring additional support and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessments.
Integrate educational technology and hands-on learning resources into classroom instruction where appropriate.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning and school initiatives.




Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, career development programs, and school events.
Ensure classroom discipline and promote student safety and well-being.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred or required as per school policy).
Previous experience teaching mathematics at the primary school level is preferred.
Robust understanding of primary mathematics curriculum and child-centered teaching methodologies.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
