Wilcom Software Operator

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities Embroidery Digitizing
Create embroidery digitizing files using Wilcom Embroidery Studio.
Convert artwork, logos, sketches, and design concepts into embroidery-ready files.
Develop embroidery designs for bridal lehengas, gowns, sarees, sherwanis, and designer outfits.
Select appropriate stitch types, stitch density, underlay, pull compensation, and sequencing based on fabric and design requirements.
Optimize designs for clean embroidery output and production efficiency.

Design & Development
Coordinate with fashion designers and the production team to understand embroidery requirements.
Modify and edit existing embroidery designs based on client or designer feedback.
Ensure embroidery files maintain design accuracy, quality, and production standards.
Create appliqué, monograms, motifs, borders, and decorative embroidery patterns.





Production Support
Prepare machine-ready embroidery files in required formats (DST, EMB, PES, EXP, etc.).
Conduct design testing and sampling before production.
Troubleshoot embroidery issues such as thread breaks, puckering, registration, and stitch quality.
Maintain an organized library of embroidery designs and production files.

Quality Control
Ensure embroidery designs meet Studio Prive's quality standards.
Verify stitch quality before final production.
Coordinate with machine operators to ensure accurate execution of embroidery designs.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in Wilcom EmbroideryStudio software.
Solid knowledge of embroidery digitizing techniques.
Understanding of embroidery machines and production processes.
Knowledge of stitch types, density, compensation, sequencing, and fabric behavior.
Basic knowledge of CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator will be an added advantage.
