Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Proposal Engineer with 2–8 years of experience in estimation and proposal preparation for electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, MV systems, RMU, and PDU. The role requires robust technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and an understanding of global standards.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, techno-commercial proposals, and bid documentation for:
LV/MV Switchgear systems
Transformers (including MV Transformers)
Ring Main Units (RMU)
Power Distribution Units (PDU)
Related electrical infrastructure for industrial and datacenter applications
Analyze customer specifications, BOQs, drawings, and tender documents
Perform costing, vendor evaluation, and risk analysis
Support proposal development, bid strategies, and value engineering
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, sales, and project teams
Participate in technical discussions with clients and stakeholders




Ensure compliance with regional and international electrical standards and certifications
Contribute to continuous improvement of estimation tools and processes

Technical Skills & Knowledge
Robust knowledge of:
Electrical distribution systems (LV/MV)
Switchgear, transformers, RMUs, PDUs
Working knowledge of:
Building Management Systems (BMS)
HVAC systems (basic integration awareness)
Exposure to or understanding of:
Datacenter infrastructure (preferred/optional)
Power redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N)
Critical power distribution
Familiarity with global electrical standards and certifications such as:
IEC, IEEE, ANSI, UL, CE, etc.
Ability to review and interpret:
Single line diagrams (SLD)
Schematics and layouts
Specifications and datasheets

Qualifications
Experience
2 to 8 years of experience in:
Proposal engineering / estimation
Electrical system costing and bid preparation
Experience in industrial, infrastructu
