SQL Developer (Fresher) – Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented SQL Developer (Fresher) to work with databases, write queries, and support data-related operations. This role is ideal for candidates who have strong basics in SQL and want to build a career in data and backend development.
Key Responsibilities
Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data
Design, create, and maintain database tables and structures
Perform data validation, cleaning, and troubleshooting
Optimize queries for better performance
Generate reports based on business requirements
Work with developers and analysts to support data needs
Ensure data accuracy and integrity
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Solid knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, Subqueries)
Understanding of database concepts (tables, indexes, relationships)
Basic knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server)
Familiarity with MS Excel
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
Knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, and views
Basic understanding of data analysis concepts
Familiarity with Power BI / Tableau
Internship or academic project experience in databases
