Role & Responsibilities
Manage and organize the school library’s physical and digital collections, ensuring alignment with CBSE syllabus and age-appropriate learning needs.
Develop and implement library programs including reading clubs, author interactions, book fairs, and literacy campaigns to foster a culture of reading.
Train students and teachers on digital library tools, OPAC systems, and research best practices to enhance learning outcomes.
Coordinate with academic departments to curate resource lists, integrate library materials into lesson plans,



and support project-based learning.
Maintain accurate records of book issuance, returns, inventories, and digital access logs using library management software.
Design and manage the library’s physical space to be student-friendly, inclusive, and conducive to quiet study, group learning, and storytelling sessions.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
Library Science degree (B.Lib / M.Lib)
CBSE curriculum familiarity
OPAC systems
Reading promotion techniques
Microsoft Office Suite
Child-friendly communication
