Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of a team to ensure objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively. This role involves guiding, motivating, and supporting team members, coordinating tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining a productive and positive work setting aligned with organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise day-to-day activities of the garnishment team, ensuring workload is distributed appropriately and deadlines are met.
Assign tasks related to order setup review, payment review, and garnishment sign-offs across team members.
Review teamwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies and regulations.
Serve as first level of escalation for complex garnishment inquiries, employee concerns, and agency questions.
Ensure policies, procedures, and controls are consistently followed across the team.
Track team performance using metrics and KPIs; identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Provide coaching, mentoring,



and ongoing support to team members.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training recent team members.
Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, and reference materials for team processes.
Partner with Payroll, HR, Legal, and other departments to resolve escalated issues.
Support audit readiness and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
Assist with rollout of current systems, enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements.
Recognize performance and support corrective actions when necessary.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
