We are hiring a Design Manager/ Team Lead – Aluminum Category Design for our client, a leader in the fenestration industry. The role involves spearheading product design & development, Innovation, and strategy for aluminum doors and windows, leading a design team, and ensuring compliance with building codes & industry standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in CAD, prototyping, PLM, and aluminum systems design, with a proven track record in the building materials or architectural systems industry.

Key Responsibilities
Lead product design and development for aluminum doors, windows, and building systems.
Drive design innovation and ensure alignment with market research and customer feedback.
Oversee CAD design, prototyping, and product lifecycle management (PLM).
Implement value engineering and cost optimization without compromising aesthetics or quality.
Ensure quality assurance and compliance with building codes & design standards.
Manage vendors, suppliers, and contractors for material sourcing and design execution.
Provide leadership, mentoring,



and skill development for the design team.

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s / Master’s in Industrial Design, BE/B.Tech ​​​​​​

Experience: 10–20 years (in Product Design / Aluminum Systems / Fenestration /
Proven expertise in aluminum product design, fenestration, or architectural systems.
Robust proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and prototyping.
Experience with PLM tools, material knowledge – aluminum, and building regulations.
Leadership skills with the ability to drive innovation, collaboration, and market-focused design.
