The Planning Engineer is responsible for preparing Production Planning Schedules, coordinating with Cross-Functional Departments, and ensuring the Timely Completion of customer orders. The role focuses on Production Planning, Resource Optimization, Production Monitoring, and maintaining On-Time Delivery Commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Production Planning Schedules.
Review Customer Orders and prioritize Production Activities.
Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, and Production Departments.
Monitor Raw Material Availability before releasing Production Plans.
Ensure smooth Workflow Coordination between departments.
Track Order Progress from Production to Dispatch.
Prepare Production Status Reports and MIS Reports for management.
Plan Manpower Allocation and Machine Utilization effectively.
Identify Production Bottlenecks and recommend Corrective Actions.
Monitor Production Targets and Delivery Commitments.
Coordinate Urgent Orders and Customer Priorities.
Maintain Production Planning Records and Documentation.
Ensure On-Time Completion of all Manufacturing Activities.
Support Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
Follow Quality Standards, Safety Procedures, and Company SOPs.
