Job Description:
As an Airport Ground Staff – Boarding Gate Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and productive boarding process for our passengers. You will be the first point of contact for our customers at the boarding gate and will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome passengers at the boarding gate with a friendly and skilled demeanor
Check boarding passes and travel documents to ensure they are valid and accurate
Assist passengers with any queries or concerns they may have before boarding
Coordinate with the boarding crew to ensure a timely and organized boarding process
Handle any last-minute changes or issues with passengers' tickets or baggage
Provide special assistance to passengers with disabilities or special needs
Ensure the boarding gate area is clean and organized at all times
Communicate any key updates or announcements to passengers
Collaborate with other ground staff members to ensure a seamless travel experience for all passengers
Maintain a high level of safety and security at the boarding gate area
Adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
