Key Responsibilities
Design & Drafting: Develop complex 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings (sheet metal, machined parts) adhering to ASME/ANSI standards.
Engineering Analysis: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA), stress, and kinematic simulations to validate design functionality.
Documentation: Create Bills of Materials (BOMs), ECOs (Engineering Change Orders), and technical documentation.
Collaboration: Work with production/manufacturing teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and troubleshoot, or support prototype builds.
Standards Compliance: Ensure designs comply with safety, environmental, and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in SolidWorks (3D modeling, Simulation, Sheet Metal).
Technical Knowledge: Robust understanding of engineering principles, GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and manufacturing processes (machining, welding, bending).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
