Job Description:

Safety Program Management
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs to meet regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety within the company.
Establish safety protocols for all areas of plant operations, including production, maintenance, and laboratory settings.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are up to date, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant bodies.
Maintain and update safety documentation, such as safety data sheets (SDS), risk assessments, and safety audit records.
Prepare and submit required safety reports to regulatory agencies, company management, and stakeholders.

Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification
Conduct regular hazard analyses and risk assessments to identify potential safety issues in all areas of plant operations.
Lead safety audits, inspections, and assessments to identify hazards, unsafe practices,



and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement corrective action plans for identified safety concerns and monitor the effectiveness of these actions.

Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis
Lead investigations into workplace accidents, near misses, and safety incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
Compile detailed incident reports, including findings, recommendations, and actions taken to prevent recurrence.
Track safety incidents and trends to identify areas requiring additional training or safety interventions.

Safety Training & Awareness
Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring all staff are aware of safety procedures, equipment usage, and emergency response protocols.
