Position Overview: As a Data Modeler, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our data models to support our data warehouse, ETL processes, and cloud-based data initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to ensure that our data architecture meets the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

-Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with business requirements and support data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modernization initiatives.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to implement and maintain scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into our data warehouse.
Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and data integrity, considering factors such as query performance, data volume, and storage requirements.
Work closely with Business Stakeholders and Data Analysts to understand data requirements,



translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure data models meet analytical and reporting needs.
Drive data modernization efforts by evaluating and implementing recent technologies, methodologies, and best practices for data modeling, data management, and data governance.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, promoting
knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience (X years) as a Data Modeler or similar role, with a robust background in designing and implementing data models for data warehousing, ETL, and cloud-based settings.
In-depth knowledge of data modeling concepts, techniques, and best practices, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
