Job Description

The Service Engineer is responsible for Installation, Testing, Commissioning, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and After-Sales Technical Support of Distribution Transformers and Power Transformers at customer locations. The candidate will ensure Customer Satisfaction through timely resolution of technical issues and effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Install, Test, and Commission Distribution and Power Transformers at customer sites.
Perform Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and Breakdown Maintenance activities.
Diagnose Electrical Faults and Mechanical Faults in transformers and associated equipment.
Conduct Insulation Resistance Testing, Winding Resistance Testing, Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) Testing, and other transformer-related tests.
Attend Emergency Service Calls and provide timely Technical Support and solutions.
Prepare Service Reports, Inspection Reports, and Site Visit Reports.
Coordinate with customers regarding Maintenance Schedules and service requirements.
Work closely with Production,



Testing, and Design Teams for technical support.
Monitor Transformer Performance after commissioning and recommend improvements.
Ensure proper handling of Testing Instruments, Service Tools, and Spare Parts.
Maintain Service Records, Warranty Documents, and Customer Complaint Records.
Train customers on Transformer Operation, Preventive Maintenance Practices, and safety procedures.
Follow all Electrical Safety Standards, PPE Guidelines, and company safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with IS Standards, IEC Standards, and Quality Standards.
Maintain solid Customer Relationships and support After-Sales Service Activities.
